• The minor must not have a fever, cough or flu on the day of the exam.
  • Investigate in simple and contrasted studies under sedation, if the patient is allergic to materials with latex.
  • If the tomography is contrasted, you must take into account: inform if you have a history of allergies or known reactions to contrast media, renal function disorders, diabetes, heart failure or if you are insulin dependent.
  • Not having received chemotherapy in the 48 hours prior to the exam.
  • The minor must be accompanied by an older relative.
  • The Hospitalized patient must bring the canalized vein and come with the father or mother.
  • Be (1) one hour before the procedure for administrative procedures.
  • Fasting for eight (8) hours for any food, the patient can take four (4) hours before the exam to drink a cup of panela water or MILK-FREE tea (optional).
  • Do not suspend control medications, they should be taken only with three (3) sips of water.
  • If the tomography is contrasted, dialysis patients must stop metformin 48 hours before and 48 hours after the injection of the contrast medium.
  • Bring the child compote or juice for after the study.
  • Civil registry and/or NUIP.
  • Current order (does not apply to individuals).
  • Complete Clinical History with data justifying the study.
  • Previous studies related to pathology.
  • Blood creatinine test not   older than one month (30 days). In case the study is contrasted.
